Caption

Around April/May 1984 Marechera worked for about six weeks as a teacher at the private "People's College" in Julius Nyerere Road in Harare. By coincidence the filmmaker Edwina Spicer (Harare) visited the school with a group of young journalists as part of a training course. One of them, Ray Mawerera, interviewed Marechera. The video is unedited footage of this interview handed over to Flora Veit-Wild by Edwina Spicer.
