Welcome on the Image Repository of the Media Library of the Institute for Art and Visual History!

You are in the image collection of the media library of the Institute for Art and Visual History. It is under construction.

In the image collection you currently find lantern slide from which were in use at the Berlin University since 1892, as well as 35mm colour slides, mainly from the Feist Collection and other collections with photographs of urban planning, architecture and museums. Please note the applicable licensing of the image files (copyright of the photographer). The licenses are specified for each image file, e.g. CC-BY-SA 4.0 international or CC-BY-NC 4.0 international. Images licensed with CC-BY-NC may not be used for book or web publications or other purposes that are commercial in the broadest sense without the explicit permission of the copyright holder, unless such use is covered by exceptions and limitations of copyright law. In addition to the copyrights of the image, the copyrights of depicted works as well as personal rights of depicted persons must be observed.
