Abstract

"Decolonizing Anthropology" entails the demand to decolonize anthropology's knowledge practices and to ask what resources anthropology can offer and continues to hold that can actually unfold a decolonizing potential. In this lecture series, social and cultural anthropologists reflect on the epistemological and methodological conditions of knowledge production in contact zones of post/colonial encounters. These encounters take place in the former colonies as well as in the former centers of colonial empires.
