Abstract
This recording is from Gerd Koch's Kiribati tape collection (1963–1964). According to Koch's documentation, KN 098 "E a katautau te mwananga" is a dance song of the tirere genre, recorded in Routa/Temwanoku, Nonouti, on 25 January 1964 at 3:00 p.m. The composer and date of composition are unknown. The sound document has been shortened from its original length of 11 minutes.
